In the mid-70s Paul Morrissey, one of the most active directors to come out of the Warhol factory, produced two delirium inducing horror films, both of which starred Udo Kier. A weakened, blood-dry Count Dracula travels to Italy in the hope of having an easier time finding virgin blood. When he meets the Marchese di Fiori (played by the founding father of neo-realismo Vittorio de Sica) his plans seem to come to fruition: the aristocrat wants to sell one of his daughters in order to free himself from his money troubles.
